So far, the world is reeling from Donald Trump’s bullying, ‘negotiating’, strategy. It is not difficult to fathom what to do with such a man.
If Russia is similar to China, and China is similar to the United States of America in their pursuit of imperialistic enlargement and their influence and control, Europeans only need to work out what language they want to be speaking in forty years time.
China used to make cheap and weak copies of Western goods. It no longer does. It can, and readily does, directly compete with American manufacturers. Just recall how Trump tries to put large tariffs on Chinese goods. China has a manufacturing mentality that is agile, in both its design and implementation. The USA last exhibited a change in manufacturing to a war footing in the 1940s from floundering around in a Depression. They have no recent practice of agility and China clearly has the capacity, experience and mentality to swiftly switch manufacturing to suit its needs.
Russia doesn’t care how many of its soldiers die or what they destroy – a difficult enemy to defeat, I suggest. They also don’t care for any foreign civilians. They, the Russian Government and the people, would jump at an all out war against the USA that would have a significant impact in the USA communities. The American people would soon protest for peace. Stop killing our soldiers in Vietnam and in failed attacks in South America becomes stop killing my parents and children.
If Europe had a spokesperson who understands Trump and played the same game, it would look like this:
If the USA takes Greenland, NATO is finished. This means that Europe is vulnerable. There would also be a substantial shift away from the USA by countries across the world based on their trust for American protection. The best option will always going to be; trade with China. So, when Trump tries to bully any country that opposes their takeover of Greenland with higher tariffs, those countries will choose to trade with China; quite simply because they will otherwise be taken over, and even occupied, by Russia and China if the USA breaks up NATO.
Trade moving away from America destroys America AND leaving NATO destroys America.
If Europe switches trade from America to China, the USA loses a significant revenue source for war-mongering and wartime manufacture AND inevitably the intelligence network it currently shares with European intelligence agencies. It really doesn’t want that, because it would make the USA tremendously vulnerable. Let’s face it, most of the world has had enough of the American Government’s interference and bullying tactics.
My prognosis: In a World War, the USA will lose economically and materially without NATO, Europe and the Commonwealth.
Stop pansying around and tell Donald Trump and his crew what to do. Acquiring Greenland in any way. Shove it! No Deal!
Going along with what bullies do to us makes us complicit in our own destruction.
The USA is so close to economically and materialistically dying that the people are panicking. If they want to keep speaking English they need to protect Europe and NATO.
I shall not go into a McDonalds today or tomorrow or forever. Not hard – I am vegetarian and health conscious. Do go there if you enjoy the fare. Your country needs the taxes to up their NATO contribution to rearm and prepare to fight the USA. That doesn’t even mean I support that strategy. It is, I suggest, what European countries are planning for.
Personally, and I know there are millions like me in the UK, I buy Chinese products and have no need for American products.

In every scenario, the USA cannot win. The American Government and analysts know this, which is why they are bullying for a better position. They MUST come to the bargaining table cap in hand to gain any credence and later support. Now, I suggest, is the time for Europe to set out its stall. Unfortunately, the USA does not want to take a less powerful position. Beggars are not weak and bullies make enemies.
